Job DescriptionWe are currently interviewing Powder Coat Technicians for a local manufacturer in the Ladson area. These positions are Contract to Hire and on 1st shift with weekly pay If you are interested, please apply today with an updated resume for consideration

Job Description:
Works under the direction of the Production Supervisor or the Senior Powder Coat Technician. The main function is to operate equipment related to the powder coat operation such as a parts washer, shot blaster, spray booth, and cure oven. Assemble and disassemble masking plates and plugs on components in preparation for and processing after the powder coat process. Dispositioning parts for quality inspection and for racking in designated areas.

Duties:

• Safely operate shop and warehouse equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pneumatic tools, hoists, small hand tools, etc.
• Accurate completion of manufacturing-related documentation
• Assemble and Disassemble masking plates, cleaning masking components as needed.
• Handle components using a chain hoist to hang/offload from the conveyor system
• Safely operate parts washer, shot blaster, spray booth and cure oven
• Work overtime as required to meet customer delivery dates
• Other duties may be assigned
