    Description

    You will administer and interpret audiological tests, including comprehensive evaluations, immittance measures, and electrophysiological measures to differentiate conductive, cochlear, and neural hearing loss.

    Responsibilities:

    • Diagnostic services, including adapted evaluations and auditory electrophysiology under sedation as indicated.
    • Audiologic treatment, including hearing aid and cochlear implant candidacy determinations, fitting, and patient counseling.
    • Complete documentation reports of diagnostic and treatment services in a timely manner.
    • Provision of services consistent with CICARE goals and requirements.
    • Participation in Audiology, HNS, and medical staff teams to promote best patient care.

    Requirements:

    • California Audiology License
    • California Hearing Aid Dispensing License
    • Experience in pediatric and adult audiology, including hearing aid dispensing
    • Experience with cochlear implants
    • Ability to travel to Santa Monica or Thousand Oaks, as needed
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Excellent documentation abilities
    • Able to efficiently learn new computer and clinic systems
