    Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist: Part-time or Full-time

    $40,000 Retention Bonus

    $40,000 Retention Bonus

    This position is eligible for a $40,000 retention bonus ($20,000 paid after 6 months of service with the remainder paid after 12 months of service).

    *Retention bonus prorated based on FTE status.

    Salary Range

    Dependent upon qualifications and FTE status

    Part-time: $119, $138,753.76

    Full-time: $239, $277,507.51

    The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

    Canvas Health's mental health and substance use disorder providers, clinicians, and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. We strive for excellence in clinical care as we serve those living with mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing, and trauma. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.

    Position Summary

    This position is responsible for providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents in an outpatient setting. This includes providing diagnostic assessments and ongoing medication management for a potentially complicated patient population and facilitating hospitalization when necessary. The provider will develop and sustain productive client relationships with the assistance of the psychiatric support staff. The provider will also need to work collaboratively with programs and staff across the agency to provide strong coordination of care.

    Qualifications

    • Medical degree from an accredited institution
    • Completion of an approved General Psychiatry Residency Program with special focus in child/adolescent psychiatry OR Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
    • Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification in Minnesota
    • Active licensure to practice medicine in the state of Minnesota
    • Currently credentialed or eligible to become a credentialed provider with insurance entities

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations
    • Abilify to work collaboratively in a team setting across multiple disciplines
