Assist in the development, service, and retention of the Wes WatkinsCenter Customer Base.

Serve as an inbound customer request contact witha focus on selling and marketing the Wes Watkins Center space forcustomer meetings, conferences, banquets, receptions, weddings, dances,and other functions.

Be a primary source of information for providingestimate menu costs, preparing event proposals; event planning,development, and execution as well as field general questions, concernsand/or ideas.

Proactively look for ways to improve profitability whileincreasing product offerings and providing world-class customer service.
Provide reliable, accurate, and improvement oriented front-end andback-end data on events, including in-house and external cateringinformation and data. Check events for quality presentation, orderaccuracy, and professionalism. Demonstrate punctuality and dependabilityin work arrival and departure times. Effectively manage time in order tosee effective follow-through on events and leaving time to generate newbookings. Administer to outside vendors the requirements and proceduresfor kitchen policy, off campus vendor, and food handling requirements.
