- The Grading Foreman is responsible to safely supervise and coordinate project activities pertaining to specific projects. He/She will be directly responsible for the efficiency and quality of the project from beginning to end.
- Manage the trucking necessary to cost effectively service the project.
- Coordinate and work with inspectors and subcontractors to complete projects.
- Build the project to specification.
- Communicate with project stakeholders.
- Approve and submit work hours for crew and pertinent job information daily.
- Work with Quality Control department to ensure delivery of a quality product.
- Schedule hot mix and/or concrete paving crews as needed.
- Directly manage grade stabilization crew.
- Safely and properly supervise and coordinate personnel and tasks pertaining to projects.
- Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
- Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements.
- Understand and adhere to Company policies, including the Duininck Standards of Conduct.
- Maintain current regulatory certifications required for the position.
- Travel is required.
- Saturday work as dictated by scheduling.
