    • The Grading Foreman is responsible to safely supervise and coordinate project activities pertaining to specific projects. He/She will be directly responsible for the efficiency and quality of the project from beginning to end.
    This position reports to the Grading Superintendent.
    Order and continually manage the materials needed for the project.

    • Manage the trucking necessary to cost effectively service the project.
    • Coordinate and work with inspectors and subcontractors to complete projects.
    • Build the project to specification.
    • Communicate with project stakeholders.
    • Approve and submit work hours for crew and pertinent job information daily.
    • Work with Quality Control department to ensure delivery of a quality product.
    • Schedule hot mix and/or concrete paving crews as needed.
    • Directly manage grade stabilization crew.

    Perform daily equipment walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.


    • Safely and properly supervise and coordinate personnel and tasks pertaining to projects.
    • Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
    • Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements.
    • Understand and adhere to Company policies, including the Duininck Standards of Conduct.
    • Maintain current regulatory certifications required for the position.
    • Travel is required.
    • Saturday work as dictated by scheduling.
