Job Summary
The Department of Mathematics at The University of Texas at Tyler is seeking a non-tenure track full-time lecturer to start in the Fall 2024 semester. The successful applicant must have at least a Masters degree in mathematics and experience teaching undergraduate math courses. This successful applicant will be primarily teaching students who are TSI-liable in our Intermediate Algebra course. Lecturers are expected to teach five courses each semester. Review of applications will begin immediately, and the position will remain open until filled.
Essential Functions
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Teaching – the teaching load is five courses per semester
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Mathematics (or higher)
Experience teaching a variety of mathematics courses
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with the TSI Assessment in Mathematics
