    We are looking for enthusiastic, creative, and playful people to teach essential life skills through play in a fast-paced environment.

    About this position: we are looking for experienced staff to work in an in-school setting. Your primary job duties will be facilitating coping strategies, building rapport/relationships, and managing challenging behaviors. You will be considered for this position if you are proficient in de-escalation and behavior management techniques.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in emotional regulation and behavior support in a school setting
    • Implement 1:1 direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
    • Collect accurate ongoing data on client's programs
    • Help build communication systems (AAC, PECS, ASL) with our non-verbal and emerging-verbal clients
    • Teach and develop communication skills
    • Collaborate with the clinical team to tailor ABA treatment plans, ensuring they are personalized to meet the unique needs of each individual
    • Ensure clear communication with all team members and parents/clients
    • Attend staff meetings and training sessions

    We are currently looking for those who can work Part-Time. Full-time caseloads can be attainable with a timeline of 3-6 months.

    Requirements

    Basic Requirements:

    • HS Diploma
    • Experience working with children (personal/professional)
    • At least 1 year experience in de-escalation and behavior management
    • WA state Drivr's liscense
    • Insured, reliable transportation
    • Must be able to lift and carry clients when needed
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills to connect with clients

    Ideal Candidates:

    • Individuals who love working with children
    • Candidates with a current CBT or RBT certification
    • Experience in ABA
    • Teacher aides or Paraeducators (we have PT hours available after school)
    • Direct Support Professionals and Respite Workers
