    Network EngineerThis is an onsite position based in Orlando, FL.The shift requirement is 3rd shift (night shift).This individual will be responsible for contributing to the commissioning and maintenance of the networks systems and communications infrastructures for the attractions in conjunction with the Controls Systems in Engineering and Safety group.

    Performs activities related to the design and implementation of attraction industrial networks and communications. Activities include designing, supervising installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, network support and troubleshooting. Collaborates with stakeholders and operating partners.

    Will also collaborate with enterprise IT and Core Safety and Engineering to design and deploy world class theme park attractions.


    Responsibilities include:
    Support of the design, implementation, and management of network and supervisory systems for new and existing park attractions.
    Design and execution of acceptance testing strategies.

    Participate in reviews of attraction network architecture and ensure appropriate security, scalability, safety, redundancy, reliability, and sustainability design strategies are in place and are given proper weighting in the design objectives.

    Collaborating with stakeholders from various division to ensure successful deployment while adhering technical requirements.
    Implementation and support of the next generation of shared services for ride show networking.
    Development of a strategy for fault management, including metrics and reporting.
    Generate system level documentation and manuals.
    Maintain configuration management of hardware and software.
    Partner with IT to ensure proper access, accountability, and processes.

    Ensure Engineering & Tech Services PCs integrate with various tools and programs that are required with technology in the field.

    Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established corporate policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

    Be willing to periodically work nights, weekends and peak periods as required. Be on call for support.
    Perform other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications/Requirements:
    2+ years of experience with IT networkingExcellent Layer 2 & 3 networking skills. Solid understanding of access and distribution LAN switching environments with VLANs.
    Knowledge of firewall and switch configuration and troubleshooting.
    Knowledge of wireless LAN technologies.
    Exposure to virtualization technologies.
    Experience with common network services FTP, SNMP, Syslog, DNS, Active Directory is a plus.
    Ability to analyze network performance utilizing tools such as Wireshark.
    Strong documentation skillsAbility to articulate and communicate network design and performance issues.


    Desired Characteristics:
    Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Bachelors degree is a plus.
    Works successfully adhering to timelines and are comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.
    CCNA or equivalent experience.
    Knowledge of automation tools and containers is a plus.
    Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).Resourceful individual with a strong desire to learn.


    Compensation and Benefits:
