    Description

    The Principal Cyber Security Assessor engages in the implementation and delivery of ABS cyber security products and candidate will be a subject matter expert in IT/OT Security, Supervisor Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control Systems (DCS) engineering, sales, and customer service globally. In addition to delivery and execution, the assessor will develop and test various security features to meet customer or regulatory cybersecurity requirements.

    What You Will Do:

  • Function as the subject matter expert in IT/OT Security, Supervisor Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control Systems (DCS) engineering, sales, and customer service globally.
  • Develop and test various security features to meet customer or regulatory cybersecurity requirements.
  • Responsible for the execution of cybersecurity products and services in addition to the development of proposals, providing continuous sales support, and ultimately supporting customers with maintaining compliance and cyber security.
  • Conduct cyber vulnerability assessments and regulatory audits.
  • Design and implement cyber security solutions for control systems.
  • Develop project documentation.
  • Successfully conduct onsite implementations of security solutions as needed.
  • Provide technical analysis and guidance on control systems security trends.
  • Prepare and conduct technical presentations.
  • Create technical reports and progress reports for projects.
  • What You Will Need:

    Education and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or demonstrated equivalent work-related experience.
  • + years in OT/ICS cyber security, OT/ICS compliance, or OT/ICS audit.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Have broad experience in computer and network systems, including IT/OT security, cyber-related regulations, NIST requirements, and/or SANS security practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO , ISA/IEC , NIST -, or DISA STIGs.
  • Managerial-level professional certification (, CISSP, CISA, or GICSP).
  • Hands-on technical configuration and implementation of cyber security standards and controls
  • Possess excellent presentation skills, including presentation development, numeracy and analysis skills, and advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills; demonstrated capability to produce reports suitable for delivery to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to learn the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
  • It Would Be Nice If You Had

  • Experience in offshore and maritime environments.
  • Prior experience writing technical reports and research papers in English is preferred.
  • Experience developing and delivering training to clients.
  • Reporting Relationships:

    Reports directly to a manager, director, or executive-level position and may have direct reports based on the project.

    Working Conditions:
