- Participate in monthly close activities by preparing recurring and non-recurring journal entries to ensure complete and accurate financial statements.
- Perform balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations.
- Analyze actual results in comparison with budget, prior year and/or forecast.
- Collaborate with Estimating, Cost Accounting and FP&A to help maximize profitability.
- Provide actionable manufacturing analysis, cost analysis and business partnering to create value.
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing opportunities to ensure the business is working on the right activities.
- Serve as an agent of change to help reduce costs and improve EBITDA.
- Participate in special projects related to ERP system conversions and finance process optimization initiatives including strengthening internal controls.
- Assist Regional Controller with external audit requests.
- Travel to regional plants as needed, estimated between 10% - 20% annually.

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or other demonstrated experience

As the Regional Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for daily/weekly/monthly accounting tasks related to the various manufacturing locations in your region as well as month-end closing activities.
In this important role you will support key stakeholders by performing a broad range of accounting, financial, and analytical support for multiple manufacturing locations in your region.
You will develop, measure, and actively manage results, ensuring business and reporting needs are met.In addition, you will support the Regional Controller and plant leadership in understanding variances in their financial performance and any related data reconciliations.
