- Bachelor's degree in exercise science, public health or related field
- Experience with planning, implementing, and measuring programs based around ROI
- Certification from a nationally recognized organization or a minimum of 2 years of Wellness Coordinator experience
- The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
- Certified Health Fitness Specialist (HFS) o Physical Activity in Public Health (PAPH)
- The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) o Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) o The Wellness Council of America (WELCOA) o National Wellness Institute (NWI)
- Serve as a spokesperson for wellness to stimulate interest in healthy lifestyle behaviors
- Develop, promote and oversee employee wellness activities for breaks, after work and before work (including but not limited to: fitness orientations and consultations, health screenings and health risk assessments, health and fitness fairs, awareness events and motivational contests)
- Coordinate wellness efforts with community wellness activities to maximize participation, (i.e. walk-athons, organized runs, charity events that involve a physical activity component, cooking courses, etc.).
- Serve as Chairperson of the County-wide Wellness Committee. Recruit wellness champions within each department
- Work closely with wellness champions regarding wellness initiatives to promote year-round wellness
- Work with administration and management to support a wellness program and to become advocates of it themselves.
- Work with departments to discuss their particular wellness needs and incorporate wellness activities into meetings, daily work and other department functions.
- Work with employees to meet their wellness goals whether personal or goals set through the Health Risk Assessment program. Develop opportunities for employees to meet these goals.

My Health Onsite operates onsite and near-site health and wellness centers. We deliver advanced personalized work-site healthcare solutions to employers that enhance patient engagement while proactively improving health outcomes. Our medical team takes time to build strong relationships. No one is rushed in and out, and no one is a "number." Patients may access a range of medical services including x-ray, an onsite pharmacy, wellness services, treatment for acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Our programs go beyond caring for the sick and injured - we make prevention our number one goal.
Summary
Develop, implement and manage wellness program initiatives and events that create awareness and motivation to help employees adapt and maintain a well-rounded healthy lifestyle. The ideal candidate is personable, energetic, professional, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects/tasks.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9a-5p
