- Coordinate referral/authorization for patient appointments
- Verify patient insurance coverage
- Contact patient insurance and submit appropriate codes if a referral/authorization is needed for the patient appointment
- Maintain and update patient medical records, insurance, and demographics
- Scheduling patient general dermatology and surgical appointments
- Keep track and manage referrals/authorizations daily to ensure active referrals/ authorizations are in place for patient general visits and procedures
