Lawrenceville Smiles is looking for an outstanding Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We are seeking a cheerful and self-motivated team player who is fully committed to our patients, our team, and our doctor. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to making a difference in our patients' lives and will strive to be the best part of their day.

$45 - $55 hourly

• Talk with patients to make sure they are comfortable and have all their questions answered.
• Help to identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible.
• Give guidance to patients about how to have good dental care at home.
• Prevent tooth decay and periodontal disease by providing a thorough dental cleaning and applying protective sealants, fluoride and Arestin as needed.
• Conduct initial screenings of patients to understand their oral health history.
• Make radiographs of patient's teeth.
• Instruct patients how to care for their teeth on a regular basis.
• Treatment plan patients perio treatment with dentist.
• Update patient's health history periodically and document clinical notes from appointment.
• Clean and sterilize dental instruments.

• Associate's degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued
• Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
• Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
• 5+ years experience as a dental hygienist
• Must be a positive self-starter who works well with others and loves what they do.
