    Job Summary:

    As a Cloud Network Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will analyze complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and configuring operating systems and protocol suites for virtualized and containerized systems. You will resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across host, hypervisor, and guest nodes. You will load and configure cloud servers and vendors such as Cisco or Juniper, or white box routers and switches, and support the acquisition of hardware and software and subcontractor services.

    About the Role:

    • You will work on an agile team of experts, performing reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis of various software problems.
    • You will inform operational parameters for complex systems, as well as leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to influence the delivery of your work.
    • You will determine what the art of the possible is, and what can be done, and then bring it to life for our clients.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience providing technical support for the engineering and testing of complex software and hardware systems in the communication field.
    • Experience with Kubernetes and networking equipment, including Cisco or Juniper.
    • Experience with VMWare, QEMU, KVM, or Docker.
    • Experience with Linux or OpenStack.
    • Knowledge of networking services, and software-defined networking.
    • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
    • HS diploma or GED.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with vulnerability analysis and exploit development.
    • Experience with Python.
    • Experience with Assembly.
    • Knowledge of telecommunications.
