    CJ Foods is looking for a highly motivated Insights Analyst, based in the Orange County area, to join our team.


    The Insights Analyst will serve as a key component of the Marketing Insights & Strategy team, which will help structure future research plans and marketing strategies.

    More specifically, the Insights Analyst will:

    Lead insights, trend analysis and research plans for key categories (frozen and shelf stable) for the marketing team
    Manage and maintain relationships with outside research vendors and agencies
    Meet with marketing team to assess marketing research needs and provide short term and long term solutions as it relates to new product development, brand positioning, and consumer insights
    Collect, analyze, and synthesize consumer learning to draw insights that lead to specific actions and improve business results
    Ability to "story-tell" (PPT presentations, Word, etc) by simplifying complex insights and data
    Deliver reporting and analysis to support US and Korea HQ business decisions
    Run monthly reports from key data sources (IRI, internal BI)
    Develop quarterly industry trend reports to send to internal stakeholders
    Provide regular summaries of performance drivers
    Diagnose business problems with analysis from multiple sources
    Rebuild/supplement reporting suite to deliver greater insight and engagement with stakeholders
    Develop and track KPIs (sales, growth, velocity, etc) for new products within each category
    Maintain library of team analyses, reports, tools and templates


    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree
    Minimum 3 years experience in an analytical role; CPG experience a plus
    Strong Excel skills – comfortable with advanced functions, pivot tables. Strong value in a candidate with experience building models and sense of visual appeal
    Familiarity with syndicated retail data analytics (e.g. IRI/Nielsen)
    Qualitative research experience and skills (Focus groups, concept tests, etc.)

    Detail oriented
    Can draw insights and observations out of data
    Adaptable to a fast-moving environment
    Strong communications skills
    Bilingual English & Korean a plus
