    Overview:

    Revvity Signals Software, a Revvity company, provides solutions that are specialized scientific know-how that empowers customers to gain critical insights from their data analytics and accelerate informed decisions. We deliver a comprehensive suite of software solutions to visualize and analyze critical data and help turn that data into actionable insights in an automated, predictive, and scalable way.

    Our team is seeking a Director of Product Portfolio - Signals Workflows, who will be responsible for the vision, strategy, positioning, feature set, and success of a new product offering that leverages the proven success of the Signals Research Platform. This offering will be centered around workflow facilitation with pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical development as well as manufacturing.

    This person will work closely with many different parts of Revvity Signals Software to set product priorities, train other departments on features of a new release, engage with customers to better understand their needs, all the while balancing the resources, quality goals, budgets, and customer expectations.

    As the eventual manager of product managers, this role will guide and coach direct reports with a product vision and strategy that will ensure product cohesion, integration, and customer success.

    Specific elements of the job include:

    • Product Strategy
      • Establish shared vision across the organization by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
      • Sequence the roadmap based on that shared vision
      • Provide clear direction and set clear goals for direct report product managers based on that shared vision
      • Evangelize - both internally and externally - the new product offering
      • Contribute as a domain expert to sales, marketing, enablement, business opportunity analyses as needed by those departments
      • Be the go-to person for prospects and customers to instill confidence in a vision for their needs
    • The Driver
      • Set ambitious but attainable goals for engineering.
      • Player-to-Coach: Drive engineering requirements directly at first, ultimately delegating such tasks to product management direct reports once onboarded
      • Find a way to move things forward. Recognize when to have what conversation and with whom.
      • Balance competing product priorities and coach direct reports on their ability to do this effectively.
      • Identify and initiate opportunities for new projects or focus areas and build teams necessary to execute.
    • General Management
      • Manage multiple priorities, scale teams, and ensure org is effective, healthy and set up for success by establishing clear and measurable goals
      • Represent and evangelize product with Senior Leadership and other stakeholders.
      • Coordinate product launches with Operations, Marketing, Services, Sales, and Support teams - directly and with product manager reports as the situation fits
      • Recognize and react to the complexities of a growing organization with an expanding product portfolio
      • Mentor product manager direct reports to continue their career growth as product managers.
      • Manage the product life-cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, and oversee direct report's adherence and implementation of those life-cycle processes.
      • Articulate organization-wide resource needs to ensure successful adoption of new capabilities.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree AND
    • A minimum of 10 years professional experience with enterprise software, technology, or related consulting companies AND
    • 8 years of experience with laboratory workflow systems AND
    • 8 years of experience with LIMS, ELNs, and related systems

    Preferred

    • Extensive experience with product management
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong will to win in the marketplace
    • Polished presenter with executive presence, can serve as trusted advisor to highly technical audience (research scientists, managers, executives)
    • Sharp, analytical, and willing to question the status quo
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Prioritize well and move adeptly between long-term projects and short-term deal sprints
    • Self-starter with a dynamic, confident personality
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and wear multiple hats
    • Creative and strategic thinker
    • Experience in a Sales environment and interacting with customer teams preferred
    • Willingness and enthusiasm to work directly with our customers across the world (including periodic domestic and international travel)
