    ** Transportation/Fleet Manager**

    Pensacola, FL 32501

    **Position Purpose**

    The Transportation Manager will work closely with the General Manger on day-to- day operation. This position will also be working closely with the Plant manager on the deadlines to meet delivery times, shortages on customers orders or any special deliveries that need to be made to the customers. The responsibility is to make sure that all routes are covered daily, and orders or requested have been delivered within the window given by the customer.

    **Primary Responsibility**

    Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles.

    Plan organize and manage the work of team members to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with Hospital Services, Inc. requirements.

    Conduct investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints or concerns.

    Serve as a person of contact to all team members within the department.

    Implement schedules and policy changes

    Monitor operations to ensure that the team members comply with all administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.

    Monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budget

    Direct repairs and maintenance on vehicles with the contracted vendors

    Conduct employee training sessions.

    **Qualifications**

    The ability to work in a high-volume fast pace environment; the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    Able to establish priorities and to manage time and work accordingly.

    Demonstrate and maintain organized work in a changing environment

    Ability to utilize experience and knowledge in a working environment to meet established goals and objectives.

    Maintain high level of confidentiality

    Proven ability to build and maintain effective and constructive relationships by begin attentive and responsive, show honesty and integrity in dealing with people.

    Exhibit initiative, senses of urgency, responsibility and leadership
