- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist in Oregon, ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a School Psychologist, with a strong preference for experience with special education students and families.
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning of students.
- Interpret assessment results to identify students' strengths and needs and make appropriate recommendations for interventions and accommodations.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized intervention plans and support strategies.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute insights and recommendations related to students' academic and behavioral goals.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans to address challenging behaviors in school settings.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and parents on topics related to child development, behavior management, and learning strategies.
