- Conduct audits and assessments of IT hardware and software to identify potential accessibility barriers and areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on 508 compliance best practices and standards.
- Stay current on emerging trends and developments in accessibility standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in 508 compliance, with a focus on both IT hardware and software.
- Thorough understanding of Section 508 of the ADA and other relevant accessibility standards and regulations.
- Experience in redesigning and/or developing solutions to address accessibility issues in IT systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical environments for accessibility compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in accessibility compliance (e.g., IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies).
- Experience working with assistive technologies and conducting usability testing with users with disabilities.
- Knowledge of WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and other relevant accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and methodologies.

Job Description: 508 Compliance Analyst
We are seeking a skilled 508 Compliance Analyst to provide essential support for the ongoing operations of the VBA Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both IT hardware and software compliance, as well as a proven ability to create strategies to maximize functionality for ADA users.
