    Salary: $55,000 annually

    Reports To:Assistant Director

    Hours: M-F Varied / 24/7 on-call

    Location: Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington

    Position Summary:

    The House Manager (HM) ensures the quality of the residential programs by coordinating the daily activities and programs for all individuals supported in accordance with Walnut Street Center, Inc. policies and procedures. Specific responsibilities are as follows:

    Responsibilities:
    • Coordinates all aspects of staffing provides staff schedule, ensuring staffing levels are in line with state contracts. Provides 24/7 on-call coverage; filling shifts open due to emergency call outs with other staff or by physically working.
    • Completes or delegates administrative tasks including but not limited to payroll, management/auditing medication and household finances, training, documentation and staff meetings
    • Case Management for residents, develops and ensures the implementation of Individuals Services Plans, schedules, medical appointment, program and clinical reviews and guardian relations
    • Oversees and coordinates all operations of a residential program: daily operations, community outings, shift assignments, health and safety and programming
    • In cooperation with the Program Coordinator and Clinical team, the HM coordinates communication between the residential program and the various members of the interdisciplinary team in order to provide members with information and access necessary for them to adequately care for the individuals.
    • Observes Direct Support Professionals (DSP) individually at least weekly and provides brief descriptive/corrective feedback/suggestion as needed.
    • Makes on -the-spot decisions about routine problems relating to policy & procedures, physical environment, ethics, and community relations. Ensures that employees are offered monthly supervision and annual evaluation.
    • Providing therapeutic support and assisting in the implementation of Behavior Support Plans and Individuals Service Plan
    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive
    • Ability to pass a driving and background check
    • Full vaccination required
    Preferred:
    • Associates or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
    • Previous management in human services or long-term care experience strongly preferred
