- Delivers speech pathology services to patients as per licensure requirements.
- Supervises the work of assistants, rehab aides, and students in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Adheres to all organizational and facility safety protocols for personal protection and patient safety.
- Expands professional knowledge through associations and continuing education.
- Supports department operations and growth.
- Communicates patient status and requirements to the patient, family, caregivers, or other involved parties.
- Graduate of an approved Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Able to practice without restrictions.
- In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
- Familiarity with Medicare and other payer sources.
- Thorough understanding of resident's rights.
- Projects professionalism in all interactions.
- Capable of multitasking effectively.
- Proficient in English communication (reading, writing, speaking).
- Current CPR certification.
