Job Title: Adjunct Instructor - Science & Engineering

About the Opportunity:
Raritan Valley Community College is seeking an exceptional instructor to join our Science & Engineering department as an adjunct part-time faculty member.

Course Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a chemistry course, introducing students to fundamental theories and laws of modern chemistry. Key topics include electronic structure, bonding, periodic table, physical states of matter, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, gas laws, solutions, kinetics, equilibrium behavior, thermodynamics, acids and bases, solubility equilibria, electrochemistry, and nuclear chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures and coursework that meet curriculum requirements.
- Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:
- Master's or doctoral degree in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience in teaching science courses, preferably at the community college level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and staff.
