- Design, develop, and implement SQL Server database solutions to meet business requirements and technical specifications
- Optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexing strategies, and database configurations
- Implement data models, ETL processes, and data integration solutions to support data analytics and reporting initiatives
- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable database designs
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all database systems and applications
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to mitigate risks and improve reliability.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in SQL Server, data engineering, and cloud platforms to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Mentor junior team members, provide technical guidance, and promote knowledge sharing within the team
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SQL Server Data Engineer or Database Developer, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex database solutions
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including proficiency in SQL programming, stored procedures, triggers, and performance optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of database design principles, data modeling concepts, and ETL processes
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies, such as SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and database technologies (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Position Summary:
As a Senior Microsoft SQL Server Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's SQL Server databases and data infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of data solutions, optimize database performance, and implement best practices for data management and security. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in SQL Server technologies to drive innovation and deliver actionable insights that support our business objectives.
Salary Range: $115,000-$130,000/year, based on experience, plus bonus potential
