    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Associate RF Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with experienced RF Engineers to support DAS systems from conception to maintenance.


    Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with Senior RF Engineers to develop comprehensive designs for DAS systems, including equipment selection and RF predictions.
    Assist in creating and documenting RF predictions and link budgets to ensure design accuracy and approval.
    Provide support to construction teams by developing detailed scopes of work, processes, and test plans.
    Utilize industry-standard in building RF design tool to create and optimize cost effective network designs.
    Participate in field testing activities, including benchmarking and Continuous Wave (CW) propagation analysis.
    Analyze field-testing results and contribute to the preparation of comprehensive customer documentation.
    Familiarize yourself with various test equipment such as power meters, spectrum analyzers, and TEMS devices.
    Utilize DAS troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and maintain systems.
    Assist in RF and fiber testing, reporting, and troubleshooting activities.
    Review and approve construction contractor-provided field test results such as PIM, VSWR, DTF, and OTDR.
    Develop a deep understanding of link budgets, noise figures, and intermodulation products.
    Cultivate basic knowledge of radio wave propagation fundamentals, antenna theory, and optical transmission mediums.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred, not required; relevant military and/or industry experience may be considered.
    Less than (2) years of RF engineering experience or equivalent.
    Proficiency in prediction and mapping tools (e.g., iBwave, MapInfo, TEMS Discovery, TEMS pocket & investigation) preferred, not required.
    Solid understanding of RF fundamentals and data network protocols.
    Knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G wireless technologies.
    Basic understanding of radio wave propagation fundamentals, antenna theory, and optical transmission.


    Skills and Abilities:
    Proficient in using RF test equipment and software preferred, not required.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Ability to focus on goals and achieve predetermined results.
    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    Proactive problem-solving ability.
    Customer-centric approach while adhering to company procedures.
