- Graduate of a school of pharmacy required, PharmD degree preferred (or 2-3 years clinical experience).
- Must have controlled substance certificate valid in the State of Alabama for the current year.
- BLS required.
- Depending upon area ACLS, PALS, and NRP may be required.
- BPS preferred.
- Ability to accurately perform computer order entry duties.
- Proficient in needed pharmaceutical calculations and the metric system.
- Basic knowledge in pharmacokinetic calculations and parenteral nutrition management.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique.
- Evidence of commitment to continuing education.

Additionally, the Pharmacist will be responsible for conducting pharmacy services and ensuring that the Pharmacy provided optimal clinical services on a daily basis.
