GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The Learning and Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating training programs at Loram and ensuring the meticulous documentation and reporting of training for all employees. The position involves monitoring and overseeing employee training and renewals, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating and disseminating support materials to enhance the learning experience at Loram. This role actively supports all company employees in fulfilling their training requirements and collaborates with the training team by liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders. The position is responsible for troubleshooting user issues, providing assistance, and contributing significantly to maintaining and enhancing Loram's support services for its learners.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Functional & Technical Skills
Education: Associate degree or 2 years of experience in administrative assistance.
Experience: Highly proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, and Outlook, or equivalent. Must have excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and time management skills. Highly organized, possess strong problem-solving skills, have high attention to detail, and be energetic and proactive in initiating solutions. Associate degrees can be substituted for work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Experience with a learning management system. Cornerstone is strongly preferred. Supporting backend training functions. Experience working in a corporate or transportation is a plus.
