    Brief Description

    Performs case management services for clients of the Truancy Program which includes reviewing intake assessments, interviewing clients, conducting information verification, and assisting with client briefing sessions.

    Detailed DescriptionPerforms initial assessment of the cases which includes:

    reviewing details of the case, interviewing the clients, documenting and verifying intake data, developing and implementing cases plans, ensures case documentation is in compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.

    Visits with clients and family members and recommends of available community services and resources; maintains knowledge of community services and resources to ensure appropriate referrals are based on client's needs.

    Serves as liaison with local law enforcement, the public, and other community agencies; responds to inquiries for information and assistance from the community-at-large, law enforcement, and other requesting parties and entities.

    Assists the Truancy Court Program Coordinator with general daily case management operations. Performs related duties as assigned.

    Job RequirementsEducation and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in business, social services, public administration or related field.

    One (1) year work related experience.


    Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Skilled in the use of standard software applications.

    Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public.


    Physical/Environmental Requirements:
    Standard Office Environment.
