About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, solutions-oriented HR Business Partner to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and can partner effectively across multiple levels of the organization. You will serve as a trusted advisor and problem solver, driving HR initiatives that support our people strategy and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- HRIS Implementation: Lead or support the rollout of our HRIS system, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
- New Hire Orientation: Design and deliver engaging onboarding experiences that set employees up for success.
- Employee Relations & Support: Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Talent Acquisition Support: Partner with recruiting to ensure a smooth hiring process and exceptional candidate experience.
- Policy Development: Help establish HR policies and procedures aligned with compliance and company culture.
- Culture & Engagement: Champion initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
- Data & Analytics: Use HR metrics to inform decisions and continuously improve processes.
Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years in HR roles, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR fundamentals (employee relations, compliance, onboarding).
- Experience with HRIS implementation and HR technology tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to partner with all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
Mindset:
- Collaborative and solutions-oriented.
- Comfortable building processes from scratch in a dynamic environment.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
- Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP.
- Experience with change management and scaling HR processes in a growing organization.
- Familiarity with labor law compliance and multi-state HR practices.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage HR data for decision-making.
