A key role exists at Optimus Client, a leading energy company, to shape the future of asset-backed trading. As Director of Origination, drive strategic vision for gas origination while originating, structuring, and marketing commercial solutions across diverse commodities, regions, pipelines, and tenors.

The organization boasts nearly 8 BCF/day production and investment-grade credit, providing tools for impactful results.

This leadership position combines strategy, innovation, and relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive growth through innovative transactions across energy commodities, regions, pipelines, and tenors.
Develop origination strategies in the Southeast U.S. market.
Build and grow relationships with power generators, LDCs, and end-users.
Source, negotiate, and close profitable transactions with seamless execution.
Stay ahead of market trends, pipeline expansions, and regulatory changes.
Mentor and manage a team while collaborating across trading and risk functions.

Required Expertise:

15+ years in energy markets with expertise in origination, trading, and marketing.
A strong network and proven ability to drive new business.
Analytical and negotiation skills to structure and close complex deals.
Knowledge of Southeast pipelines and production from Marcellus and Haynesville.
