Job summary
The Librarian Assistant Professor; Assistant Library Director for Collection Services plans, organizes and supervises the services and activities in the department including cataloging metadata serials database and electronic resource management preservation processing acquisitions and collection development.This person also supervises the related staff and manages the successful operation of the department.
Responsibilities
- Supervises Collection Services librarians and staff to ensure effective organization of departmental workflows.
- Is responsible for quality control of bibliographic databases including integrated library system (Ex Libris/ALMA) institutional repository OCLC databases.
- Manages budgets for print resources e-books journals books databases etc.
