    Description

    The responsibilities of the Network Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Design, analyze, and maintain robust networks to support data, voice, and audio communication activities.
    • Prepare comprehensive analyses of short and long-term capacity needs for switching, routing, transmission, and signaling.
    • Conduct network architecture design, feasibility studies, and cost assessments, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance network capabilities, providing recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
    • Test network systems rigorously to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
    • Stay abreast of advancements in network technology, incorporating relevant innovations to optimize network functionality.
    • Manage the procurement, testing, installation, and support of network communications hardware and software.
    • Monitor network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Analyze network traffic patterns and devise capacity-planning strategies to accommodate evolving business needs.
    • Plan and oversee network installations, including hardware and software upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
    • Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical network resources.
    • Maintain meticulous records and documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
    • Provide guidance and updates on network-related issues that may impact service delivery.

    Requirements:

    • CCNP Certification.
    • Proven expertise in network design, analysis, and maintenance.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Active Secret Level Clearance
    • 8+ years of experience
