We're looking for an experienced commercially minded Senior Accountant to help lead our US financial accounting function and play a key role in building a world-class finance organisation.

As Senior Accountant you'll ensure high-quality financial reporting robust controls while helping evolve our accounting processes systems to support growth You'll manage tight process with internal Finance team ensuring swift month-end close process e.g managing accruals schedules managing bank accounts supplier payments liaising Tax team post their numbers etc

Understanding business products writing insightful management commentary working engineers data teams automate production elements this role allowing focus knowledge skills provide most value Helping understand any differences between US GAAP IFRS accounting learning SQL skills run reports propose solutions make processes efficient scalable maintaining existing develop new controls protect financial data balance sheet substantiation process supporting year end process external auditors Financial Reporting squad reviewing new products assessing accounting implementing them banking platform accounting system working business assess impact changes accounting standards proposals accounting policy matters new products launched helping maintain integrity chart of accounts financial static data helping payment runs growing number suppliers closely UK Financial Operations team helping some US tax activities liaising external advisors Group Tax team resolving miscellaneous inquiries support overall finance team wherever needed forecasting valuations bank transfers transfer pricing tax policy research
