    Logistics Assistant Coordinator

    The Import Export Team plays a crucial role in ensuring our merchandise and non-merchandise arrive safely and efficiently while adhering to all federal regulations of import/export

    The Logistics Assistant represents an integral role in the day-to-day operational compliance with all United States import and export laws and regulations. In this role, you will be supporting all import and export shipments to and from the United States as well as direct international shipments.

    The positions will concentrate on logistics with cross training and assistance in other depts. as needed and/or required:

    • Adhere to corporate and government policies regarding Import, Export & International Business transactions
    • Monitor Daily Log Net Reports
    • Assist in organizing and maintaining foreign to foreign shipments and required documentation for international customers or licensees.
    • Assist in gathering all back up documentation for Duty Drawback
    • Assist in preparation of required import/export documentation for all in/outbound shipments
    • Assist in document preparation for Export AES filing & FW filing
    • Track and trace shipments in route via air, ocean, rail, & courier:
    • Transmit import documentation to Broker Via Log-net- EDI system
    • Ensure all deliveries both import & Intl accounts are tracked to final destination.
    • Contact carriers for missing or delayed shipments to provide timely status updates for all shipments and report all issues that could affect delivery, to management for timely resolution.

    Assist in researching stolen, lost, missing product at time of delivery, prepare back up documentation & values for claims

    • Assist in providing customers with their invoices, upon request.
    • all Internal & external emails, from customers, Broker, freight forwarder, Production team, allocation, customers service, merchandising team etc.
    • in updating ETA and changes to shipment details in our system.
    • in reviewing reports/databases and documents at purchase order level and shipment level to review, that Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) classification are complete for main product

    • 1+ years equivalent experience working in the Import/Export Industry preferred but not required.
    • Strong organization skills
    • Computer proficient in MS Excel and other MS applications
    • Working knowledge of Log-net, RLM preferred
    • Professional verbal and written communication skills

    Salary Range: 50K - 60K *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
