Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
At least one year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
EDUCATION:
Minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography. Must also hold an MR advanced registration through ARRT within the first 12 months of employment. State licensure requirements and BLS certification are mandatory.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols
- Operation of MRI equipment and ancillary equipment
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Accurate documentation skills
- Understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficiency in computer applications and data management
