    Title: Datacenter Engineer

    Duration: 12-month contract

    Location: Tampa, FL (onsite hybrid)

    POSITION CONCEPT

    The Data Center Analyst will help design, plan, and implement new and existing server, and storage infrastructure. This role requires the individual to think critically through problems and be a self-starter when completing assigned projects. Primary duties will be to design, document and assist with the server and storage moves to the new data center.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Building a new data center and needs a data center analyst to work with the Architect for the migration, plan and build.
    • Design and recommend a robust storage and server structure for new data centers.
    • Determine the required capacity and create high level design based on these requirements.
    • Implement high-level server design that promotes high availability and smooth network use.
    • Determine strategic data requirements and create high-level design according to those requirements.
    • Document architecture and design.
    • Will require onsite work to be completed in the current and new data centers.

    Experience

    • 5 or more years of relevant job experience including analyzing, configuring, troubleshooting, designing complex enterprise storage and server environments.
    • Thorough working knowledge for most of the following server/hypervisor technologies and operational functions: Cisco UCS C Series, B Series and X Series (Optional), Cisco Hyperflex, VMware vSphere 7.
    • Working knowledge of active directory.
    • Working knowledge of Windows Server and Linux.
    • Working knowledge of HPE Primera, Alletra, or 3PAR storage.
    • Working knowledge of how to zone vSphere hosts to storage on a Cisco MDS 9000 platform.
    • Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, and risk assessment skills as well as strong listening and communication skills (oral and written)
    • Ability to present issues and topics of a complex technical nature to non-technical audiences.
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
    • ITIL/Change Management experience.
    • IPAM/Infoblox experience is a plus.
    • Experience with NERC CIP is a plus.
    • Knowledge of SCADA system operation is a plus
