    **Description**

    **High Transit** the specialty hauler for High Industries is actively seeking a **Delivery Representative** to join our team at High Steel Service Center in Lancaster, PA.

    **Delivery Representatives** are responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks related to operating a tractor-trailer to delivery company products to job-sites, customers and other various locations. Ideal candidates will have the ability to start as early as 2:30 am Monday - Friday and the ability to perform overnight trips two (2) days per week.

    **Positions start at $23.00 per hour and up based on experience.**

    **Areas of responsibility:**

    Ability to operate a tractor-trailer to delivery company products to customers

    Maintain and ensure that vehicle is good working condition, report any issues to High Transit supervision

    Ability to verify load accuracy and prepare load for delivery, including chaining down the load

    Assist in unloading of load as requested

    Maintain all required DOT documentation

    **Qualifications and Work History:**

    Valid CDL A driver's license and clean driving record, required

    4-5 years of experience hauling a flat bed trailer, required

    Previous steel material hauling experience, preferred

    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    Ability to run two (2) overnight trips per week

    Demonstrated ability in sound decision making process

    Ability to start early in the morning (2:30 - 4:00 am) and work up to 14 hours per day
