    Description

    The Production Scheduling Manager will lead the Cleveland Automotive OEM Scheduling team. You will maintain all metrics related to batch scheduling (schedule attainment, critical shipments, OTIF, etc.) and is accountable to create production plans to meet Customer needs, maintain plant efficiency, and maintain the production schedule. You will assure a high level of service to PPG's customers while providing lead analysis for production capabilities and batch scheduling. You will work onsite in Cleveland, OH and report to the Plant Manager.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Run Master Production Schedule and implement to the plan.
    • Coordinate and track production Sign-Off process.
    • SIOP Reporting (Compliance, Root Cause Investigation, etc.)
    • Coordinate export orders from Cleveland Plant to other PPG Sites
    • Capacity Analysis
    • Partner with supply chain team to ensure batch starts on time.
    • Manage schedules and harmonize when there is a resource conflict and optimize production schedule to increase production efficiency.
    • Lead and maintain continuous improvement activities to improve safety stocks and service level performance.
    • Complete DMAIC and PDCA projects
    Qualifications:
    • BS/BA in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
    • 5+ years experience in Supply Chain and 3+ years master planning or scheduling experience within chemical batch manufacturing/production.
    • Experience with Oracle and SAP.
    • APICS certification or similar such as CPIM, SCWC is highly desirable .
    • Lean Six Sigma Green/Yellow Belt Certification is desirable
    • Basic Data Analysis such as with SQL, PowerBI, R, Python, or industry tools preferred
