    Description
    Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana is looking for a Full Time Homeless Outreach Coordinator in the Alexandria area.

    The Homeless Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the Homeless Outreach Program and services clients with a mental health disability who are living on the streets or are living with a family member or friend on a temporary basis.


    JOB DUTIES

    • Provide case management services to clients within case load
    • Coordinating and participating in the H2O outreach
    • Organize and execute weekly outreach events and the monthly 4am outreaches
    • Data collection, reporting, and staying within budget guidelines
    • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
    • Maintaining positive, working relationship with collaborating agencies in the community
    • Actively working with other programs in the agency to find housing for homeless
    • Participating when required in all PR and Development fundraising activities
    • And other duties as assigned

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelor's degree in social services or other closely related field from an accredited college.

    • Two years experience
    • Excellent computer skills, ability to work as a team, and have good interpersonal skills
    • Good organizational and communication skills are necessary
