Job Description

The Drafter will assist in the development of standard templates and items for AutoCAD Electrical. This is a TEMPORARY POSITION (6-9 months estimated) to assist the workload of the client's Engineering team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborates with other departments to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final design.
• Revises and updates existing drawings as needed, ensuring all modifications are accurately documented.
• Maintains deadline, goals, and production standards set by the department.
• Works independently with minimal oversight to meet project schedules.
• Develops detailed drawings for projects or engineering systems using CAD software.
• Performs calculations and analysis to ensure that designs meet the necessary specifications and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with electrical control panels with knowledge of ER software
• Minimum of one (1) years of experience in a manufacturing industry and familiar with engineering principles
• Proficiency in CAD software and other drafting tools
• Previous experience with engineering disciplines
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and have excellent communication skills
• Must be familiar with electrical controls and installations
• Time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
