at EyeCare Associates of East Texas Tyler, TX **POSITION: Patient Care Attendants**
**REPORTS TO:** Billing/Front Desk Manager
**JOB SUMMARY:** Assures patients get to the proper waiting area. See that the patients appropriate doctors colored card is pulled for pod area.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
High School diploma or equivalent.
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
Ability to walk for long periods of time.
Ability to push patients in a wheelchair.
Ability to communicate with patients and family members in a caring and professional manner.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Courteously walks all new patients to proper waiting area.
Helps make a positive impression to patients on behalf of the practice.
Early morning escort is responsible for making coffee and keeping it freshly brewed at all times.
Afternoon escort is responsible for the same duties and responsibilities as well as cleaning the coffee pots at the end of the day.
Daily housekeeping and Maintence when needed.
Assist front desk in flow of patients.
All other duties as assigned.
