About the Job

This is a full-time position with eligibility for benefits. The schedule is 7AM-7PM, allowing for plenty of time to return home and enjoy your personal life.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse / RN will provide nursing care within the scope of practice to ensure patients' needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, as well as state, federal, and local guidelines.

Qualifications

A current Registered Nurse / RN license in the practicing state.
A current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Follow established procedures for charting and incident reporting.
FOLLOW company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
Document any changes in patients' conditions, including nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other noticeable changes.
Utilize the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
Document and notify applicable departments of patient room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
