As the Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations, promote employee well-being, and minimize environmental impact. You will collaborate with various departments to create a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents.
- Coordinate and conduct EHS training for employees, including safety procedures, emergency response, and environmental awareness.
- Manage the incident reporting and investigation process, including root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
- Monitor and track EHS performance metrics, analyze trends, and prepare reports for management review.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure safety protocols are integrated into design, production, and maintenance processes.
- Lead environmental compliance efforts, including waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
- Stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices, and proactively implement necessary updates to EHS programs.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, conduct inspections, and manage permit applications and renewals.
- Champion a safety culture by promoting awareness, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives across all levels of the organization.

The Successful Applicant - 5+ years of Health and Safety management experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Experience with interpretation of OSHA regulations and safety policy and programs
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook experience
- Project management experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license is required in order to drive between the production facilities

- Competitive base salary between $100,000 and $115,000, depending on experience and skills
