    Role Summary:

    The Home Loan Processor I position is responsible for ordering, gathering, reviewing, and preparing required loan documents for all residential mortgage loans. This includes ensuring all loan conditions are fulfilled and the loan meets all credit union, regulatory, and secondary market guidelines.

    What You Will Be Doing:
    1. Review loan application for accuracy, compliance, and completeness ensuring that all loans are prepared and processed to comply with regulatory, lending, investor and secondary market guidelines and policies.
    2. Order appraisals, title commitments, tax transcripts, income verifications, government case numbers, fraud, and compliance reports.
    3. Effectively communicate and collaborate with borrower(s), loan officers, realtors, vendors, and Operations staff providing status updates and outstanding items to facilitate an organized, accurate, and timely closing.
    4. Review, collect, and fulfill underwriting conditions.
    5. Evaluate appraisals, title policies, credit reports, and income verifications.
    6. Examine supporting documentation and investigate any inconsistencies to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation.
    7. Ensure re-disclosures are prepared and delivered to the member within regulatory guidelines based on identified change in circumstance.
    8. Prepare and deliver documents in an accurate and timely manner adhering to regulatory requirements.
    9. Coordinate loan closing, recording, and funding with escrow.
    10. Review signed closing documents to ensure accuracy, proper execution, and completeness.
    11. Prepare and disburse loan.
    12. Perform post-closing responsibilities including packaging and shipping investor loans.
    13. Prioritize and monitor daily workload to meet company timeline expectations and lock expirations.
    14. Meet minimum monthly goals established by management.
    15. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all credit union mortgage products.
    16. Control risk and perform duties in a safe and sound manner maintaining awareness of policies and regulations related to duties and responsibilities.
    17. Understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions applicable to job responsibilities.
    18. Attend credit union training sessions, conferences, or seminars as directed and approved by leadership.
    19. Maintain a dependable record of attendance and commitment.
    20. Maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly attitude and display mutual respect, trust, and dignity while acting in the best interest of the credit union. Lead by example always displaying solid ethics and integrity.
    21. Maintain and protect all sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
    22. Willingly perform other job-related projects and duties as assigned, self-initiating assistance and requesting assistance from team members when appropriate.
    About You:
    1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    2. Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information, both orally and in writing
    3. Skilled in a deadline driven environment: adapting to changes and prioritizing competing demands.
    4. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse work group as well as independently with minimal supervision.
    5. Consistently display interpersonal skills to relate effectively and professionally to peers and all levels of management.
    6. Successful learning through on-the-job training techniques.
    Qualifications

    What You Will Need:
    1. High school diploma or equivalent completion of specialized course of study, training, and experience.
    2. One year of mortgage processing, financial, or real estate experience preferred.
    3. Experience with AUS and other lending-specific software desired.
    4. Proficient with standard Microsoft Office Suite.
    5. Some travel is required to achieve training and business objectives.
    6. Valid Driver's License is required.

    Salary Range:

    $24.34- $36.50
