Practitioner roles Responsibilities Assess patient health by interviewing patients performing physical examinations including obtaining updating studying medical histories Document patient care services charting in patient department records Provide quality outpatient services by appointment Provide ongoing health maintenance education disease prevention periodic screening adults Maintain current knowledge immunization schedules routine adult health maintenance recommendations general clinic protocols Order evaluate appropriate laboratory x ray studies Complete Continuing Medical Education maintaining licensure good standing Maintain current prescriptive authority license OBNDD DEA number Maintain knowledge Nurse Practitioner formulary prescribe medications within limits formulary Assist community health screening disease prevention activities Inform Medical Director difficult cases poor outcomes involvement other agencies patient case Interact effectively patients families clinic team members anyone necessary satisfy patient care
- Current valid license Nurse Practitioner NP Physician Associate PA Oklahoma
- Graduate accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Excellent clinical diagnostic skills
