    SecretExperience: 3-5 yearsAbout the roleCaribou Thunder Engineering Services is seeking a Software Engineer II to support the OPIR program.

    As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, and integrating simulation products.
    Join our team and contribute to the modeling and simulation of missile defense systems.

    Your expertise in software development, along with your ability to collaborate effectively and deliver high-quality solutions, will be essential in supporting the OPIR program.

    What you'll doAs a Software Engineer II, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, test, document, and integrate simulation products.

    This will involve utilizing your expertise in software development using Java, C++, and/or C# programming languages on both Windows and Linux operating systems.

    You will work closely with the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

    In this role, you may also have the opportunity to interface with customers and present technical briefings to stakeholders, demonstrating your ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.

    Your strong written, verbal, and presentation skills will be key in these interactions.
    Qualifications Proficiency in software development using C++, C#, Java, or a similar programming language.
    Strong object-oriented programming skills are required.
    You should have a basic understanding of Windows and Linux platforms.
    Experience using version control systems like GIT is essential.
    The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment is important.
    Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with the Linux KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) and experience in Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

    Knowledge and experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA and Confluence), software design patterns, and modeling and simulation development.#J-18808-Ljbffr
