- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Oregon -OR-certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by the State of Oregon - OR - the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
- Six months of experience as a CNA or EMT preferred.
- Six months of experience as a CNA preferred.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
- Recent experience working in an acute care setting preferred.

Position Summary & Highlights:
We are seeking a PRN/As-Needed ED Tech who is available for work on an as-needed basis during the Evening. This flexible schedule gives you the ability to diversify your working experience and skills.
What you will do:
The Saint Alphonsus Emergency Department (ED) Tech supports clinical staff at the unit level by performing direct patient care under the supervision of the RN.
