    Caregiver for the 2:00pm to 10:pm shift

    Position Summary: To provide respectful, friendly and cost effective quality care to our residents in their activities of daily living (ADL's), while encouraging our residents to live an independent lifestyle. The caregiving team is essential for the overall care of our residents, by ensuring that each resident has direct caregiving support for their daily needs.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Providing excellent customer service to residents, families, staff
    • Ensures compliance with Resident Rights
    • Resident Care: Assists residents with ADL's
      1. Dressing
      2. Grooming
      3. Bathing
      4. Escorts
      5. Laundry Service
      6. Bed Making
      7. Light Housekeeping
      8. Daily Trash Removal
    • Meals: Assists with Meal Service
      1. Assists with meal service for all meals
      2. Delivers meals to apartments as needed
    • Community Care:
      1. Daily Upkeep and Tidying of the Community
    • Activities: Routinely assists with activity programming
      1. Escorts residents to activities
      2. Leads or participates in activities as assigned
    • Training:
      1. Attends mandatory monthly All Staff meetings
      2. Attends/Completes training as assigned by supervisor
    • Follow tasks sheets as assigned
    • All other duties as assigned

    Position Requirements:

    • Ability to read, write and speak English
    • Ability to see and hear (with or without restrictions)
    • Ability to use telephone, smartphone, pager, walkie talkie, weather radio
    • Ability to move quickly in an emergency situation
    • Ability to push/pull (i.e. carts, residents in wheelchairs, tables)
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds
    • Ability to stand for 80% of shift
