- Provide students and general community information and communication on all college service programs, departments, personnel, policies and procedures. Communicate information regarding semester class scheduling, campus activities, admission process, alternative schedules, fees, new student orientations, etc.
- Orient new staff in the registration department of processes to ensure consistent services
- Register students for credit and non-credit classes; research, verify and monitor compliance with prerequisites.
- Assist and resolve issues for students registering in person on online.
- Verify student records and process any necessary changes to ensure accuracy.
- Enter incoming transcript information into database.
- Accurately filing student documents using a variety of modalities, including, but not limited to, scanning and linking.
- Determine residency for tuition costs and monitor address changes for residency status.
- Complete enrollment verifications
- Maintains required training, licensure and/or certifications
- Maintains confidentiality of privileged information and adheres to applicable privacy laws
- Demonstrates sensitivity, understanding and respect of diverse populations within the workplace.
- Maintains an understanding of the work of colleagues to effectively provide backup and/or support for co-workers during times when the division is short-staffed or experiencing an increased volume of work.

Job Summary:
An employee in this classification performs work of moderate difficulty by assisting students in the registration process. Work is distinguished by the ability to maintain student records related to enrollment and residency. General supervision is received by the assigned manager.
Required Knowledge:1.
High school diploma or High School Equivalency (GED/HSE), with a minimum three years previous customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Associate degree or 60 hours of college credit preferred.
