    Position Summary


    This position requires a positive attitude, a strong skillset of data-driven decision making and must be able to communicate clearly with others as a leader.

    Establishes, manages, reviews, and maintains production schedules for assigned work centers to ensure the company meets its customer commitments in an efficient manner.

    Working with operations, sales, and supply chain, will analyze work center loads for effective capacity planning. Takes an active role and is in daily communication with all departments to effectively deliver an organized workflow. Maintains and reviews production schedules ensuring proper allocation of local manufacturing to meet promised Domestic Content requirements to customers. Will answer related inquiries for all levels of the organization.

    Demonstrates ability to take directions as well as give instructions to others with a goal of meeting the DC requirements.

    Able to meet deadlines and exercise good judgment regarding related items.

    Key Responsibilities

    Supply Chain Program Manager and Sales Liaison for VCA contracts

    Pricing
    Local content requirements
    Projects assigned with VCA's
    Term of the contract. Partner with sales / legal in contract reviews
    Documentation details
    Risk assessment and Backlog analysis.
    Work with sales on Deal Desk Preparations

    Enable Strategic Procurement:
    Tracking steel index vs contracted value
    Monitoring of Logistics costs index and estimates
    Reporting on upside/downside risks
    Lead system improvements to manage VCA / LCT and DC requirements (Sales Force, NetSuite, Anaplan)
    Develop Pricing tool with Sales / Supply Chain
    Lead the interactions with sales and supply chain the team on DC% management.

    Collaborate with NPI, Engg, Sales, Supply chain on reviewing the vendor ramp program manage the NX low carbon tracker offering from supply chain standpoint.

    Qualifications

    BS degree or equivalent and 10+ years of experience managing a purchasing team in high and low volume-manufacturing environment.
    Experience with MS Office products and ERP systems.
    Detailed working knowledge of buying, material planning, master scheduling and forecasting
    Proven ability to lead a team to achieve stretch goals and objectives.
    Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects successfully.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Demonstrates competence in key areas of management and leadership expertise including relationship and conflict management, communication, staff direction and motivation, financial planning and control, quality management, risk management, and the achievement of targets.

    Ability to communicate effectively with others to reach mutually agreeable outcomes, ability to successfully follow an effective escalation process, if needed
