    Key Responsibilities:
    John Kasperek Co., Inc. seeks an energetic Quality Control Manager to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

    This talented individual will have the highest technical knowledge and will contribute to quality control in audit, accounting and consulting engagements.

    The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for the most complex knowledgebases of the firm including federal guidelines and standards, compliance and peer review requirements.

    Quality Control Managers must have a minimum 5 consecutive years of experience working in a public accounting role related to governmental auditing and consulting and will perform the following duties:
    Manage multiple engagements to provide technical accounting, financial or business advisory guidance to staff and clients
    Participate in audit planning meetings and provide guidance
    Understand and manage firm risk on audit engagements and proposals
    Perform technical pre-issuance reviews on all of the financial statements issued by the firm
    Discuss findings with audit partners and managers
    Resolve any differences of opinion
    Research and consult on technical issues for audit, review and compilation engagements
    Possess advanced knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS, IFRS and SSARS, including revenue recognition and leasing standards
    Coordinate the firm's outside peer review and oversee the internal inspection
    Monitor compliance with the firm's Quality Control system, including independence, new client acceptance, hiring, CPE, engagement documentation and license requirements
    Keep firm updated on newly released accounting and audit pronouncements

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
    Minimum of 5 years of experience with financial statement audits
    Technical expert knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and GASB regulations

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Certified Public Accounting licensure
